Founded by Daniel, a survivor who recovered painful memories of CSA and SRA in 2020, Survivor’s Story is a space for healing, hope, and connection.

Our mission is to break the silence surrounding these traumatic experiences, raise awareness, and offer guidance to those navigating the often difficult and courageous journey of healing.

2. The Story Behind Survivor’s Story
Survivor’s Story was born out of one man’s journey of pain, discovery, and healing. In 2020, Daniel, like many, was living his life with a sense of disconnection, pain and confusion about his past. Then, a sudden and life-altering experience led him to recover deeply buried memories of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) and satanic ritual abuse (SRA). This revelation shattered the life he knew, but also opened a path toward healing and self-understanding. It was during this transformative period that Daniel realized how much he had been carrying—and how many others like him were silently suffering.
As he navigated the painful process of reclaiming his memories and working through the emotional and psychological aftermath, Daniel felt the deep isolation that many survivors face. He came to understand that although trauma can make a person feel utterly alone, there are countless others who have experienced similar horrors and are in desperate need of support, understanding, and guidance.
It was this realization that led to the creation of Survivor’s Story—a website dedicated to supporting survivors of CSA and SRA. Daniel, driven by the desire to help others heal, created a platform that shares stories, offers resources, and raises awareness about the long and difficult road to recovery. Through interviews with survivors, expert insights, and curated resources, Survivor’s Story aims to not only provide a safe space for those in pain, but also to shine a light on the resilience, strength, and hope that comes with healing.

At Survivor’s Story, our mission is to provide a compassionate and empowering space for survivors of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) to find support, share their stories, and connect with resources for healing. Through personal interviews, expert advice, and a carefully curated collection of resources, we aim to raise awareness of the profound impact of CSA and the long, courageous journey of recovery. By fostering a community of strength, understanding, and hope, we strive to amplify the voices of survivors, break the silence surrounding this issue, and support individuals in reclaiming their power and healing.

Daniel
Founder
Daniel is a survivor of childhood sexual abuse (CSA) and satanic ritual abuse (SRA), now in his 40s. Over the course of his life, he has built a varied professional career, including roles in the military, security, ambulance services, outdoors work, and youth/care roles. His career path speaks to his resilience, adaptability, and determination, though much of his life was shaped by hidden trauma.
In 2020 Daniel began MDMA therapy to address his long-standing PTSD. During the treatment, he experienced profound somatic flashbacks, which led to the return of repressed memories of abuse at the hands of his father and others. Over the course of three sessions, these memories surfaced with shocking intensity, and Daniel chose to confront them head-on, standing by his truth. This decision however, came at a significant cost – he lost his career, relationships, and much of the life he had known.
Despite these immense losses, Daniel’s dedication to his healing journey has been unwavering. Through years of hard work, therapy and self-reflection, he has rebuilt his life and gained a deep understanding of the healing process. Now, with a strong commitment to supporting others, Daniel is passionate about sharing his own story to help others find their voice and feel less alone in their struggles.
