The sharing of stories is aimed at inspiring and assisting other survivors, it can be natural to compare ones own story to another’s, and even to consider that we didn’t have it ‘so bad,’ try not to do this, all of our stories are relevant and worthy of love and care and compassion, don’t fall into the trap of diminishing your own story which so often is in alignment of negative conditioning received at the hands of our abusers.

CSA is the most terrible evil it is possible to suffer, if you imagine the size and innocence of a child, and their complete dependency upon their caregivers, how can they fight back or escape, compared to the heroes of old, say Hercules, his trials and challenges were as nothing compared to the trials and tribulations of a survivors of CSA.

Some who have suffered CSA/SRA don’t feel themselves to be a survivor, sometimes because they are barely surviving, because their life is a mess and so on…

The reality is that despite suffering the worst evil you are still HERE! And while you are here there is hope for life to get better as you heal.

What was done to us is not our fault, no child is to blame for suffering such evil, despite what our abusers might say.

So we are not to blame, a child is the most innocent thing in all the world.

But  as we grow and become adult, then YES we have a duty and a responsibility to HEAL, for our own sakes and for the sakes of other survivors who need positive role models to follow in the tracks of.
